Puebla, where Bolivian midfielder Alejandro Chumacero is a member, met a series of preparation friendlies this week with his sights set on the Apertura tournament in Mexican soccer.
This Sunday Puebla defeated the Pumas de Tabasco 3-1 with goals from Maximiliano Araujo, Santiago Ormeño and Omar Fernández.
Chumacero is frequently used in every commitment that Puebla plays, being one of the possible starters in the team that will seek to make a good campaign this semester.
Chumacero had a good start to the cycle in Puebla where he stood out for his speed and skill, even being the captain of La Franja. However, the player was used some time later in a position that did not favor him and that caused his level to drop and he was left out of the starting team.
This semester he is presented with a new opportunity for his revenge in Mexican soccer where he is the only Bolivian soccer player after the departure of Luis Haquin who this semester will play in Bolívar.
