The financial documents of the official split between the Dukes of Cambridge and the Sussex have been released.

Prince William and Prince Harry have reached an agreement to share all the financial profits from the memorial fund for their mother, Lady Di. Both William and Harry agree to use the money for solidarity purposes.

This deal took place, financial documents show, in December 2019, just before the Sussexes made public their intention to step back as representatives of the British Royal Family.

The Diana Fund is not currently used as a fundraiser but it does receive sporadic donations or legacies that will now go directly to the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex charities.

Currently the Royal Foundation belongs solely to Kate and William while Meghan and Harry created the Royal Sussex Foundation which currently does not exist. Anyway, they have the Sussex Royal and it is precisely there that they will receive the funds from The Diana Fund.

Furthermore, in these documents, it is also recorded that when Harry founded ‘Sentebale’, an NGO that fights AIDS and poverty in Malawi and Botswana, the funds also came from Diana’s foundation through the Royal Foundation.
