Atlanta (USA), Jul 31 (EFE) .- The catcher Travis D’Arnaud had a double of three touchdowns and led the attack for the Atlanta Braves, who beat the New York Mets 11-10.
D’Arnaud drove in five of the Braves’ 11 runs and had six RBIs so far this new season.
The receiver helped the Braves remain undefeated so far in the championship in games held in their field, with a record of 3-0.
The victory over the mound was credited by the relief Grant Dayton (1-0) in one episode.
For the Mets, second baseman Robinson Canó (1) blew the baton, with no runners ahead, as he caught the job of starter Sean Newcomb.
His compatriot, the shortstop Amed Rosario (1) also bounced the ball from the field, he did it in the sixth episode against the pitches of the Venezuelan relay Jholyius Chacín, without runners on base.
In the mound the defeat was charged by closer Seth Lugo (0-1).
