Phoenix (USA), Aug 1 (EFE) .- Mexican starter Julio Urías worked six complete innings, was backed by four homers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-2.
For Urías (1-0) it is the first victory so far this new season.
On the way to victory, the Mexican allowed five hits, two runs, gave a base and retired five enemies via strikeout.
Urías finished his job with 90 pitches, of which 57 sent them to the hidden zone of the strike against 23 Diamondbacks hitters.
On the towers, Ranger AJ Pollock (2); shortstop Chris Taylor (1), Puerto Rican third baseman Edwin Rios (2), and first baseman Matt Beaty (1) hit home runs.
Rios (2) hit him in the fourth episode, in response to pitcher Luke Weaver’s pitches, with a runner ahead.
The Diamondbacks’ defeat was uploaded by Weaver (0-2) in four episodes.
