Kansas City, Jul 31 (EFE) – Ranger Adam Engel hit a good four-corner hit for three runs and led the Chicago White Sox 3-2 attack on the Kansas City Royals.
Engel (1) played with an explosive bat and in the second episode sent the ball to the street before a shot by starter Kris Bubic, leading two runners ahead.
Engel’s toletazo gave way to victory for the White Sox, who put their mark at 3-4 so far in the new season cut to 60 games.
The win was credited to starter Dallas Keuchel (2-0) in five innings and two-thirds, allowing seven hits, home run and two runs.
Dominican closer Alex Colomé (1) was credited with rescuing in one inning, striking out a batter.
For the Royals, the loser was Bubic (0-1) in four innings, with a penalty of three hits, home run and three touchdowns.
