A 90-year-old man was found shot dead Saturday morning at his home in Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines (Pas-de-Calais) in a “difficult end of life context”, according to a judicial source.
His 87-year-old wife, who could be the author of the shot, was hospitalized at the end of the day on Saturday and had not yet been able to be heard by investigators, reported the Arras prosecutor’s office.
The victim was suffering from cancer
According to a letter found at their home, it was “a common project”. According to the prosecution, the investigation will determine whether it is a “suicide or an assisted suicide”.
