A driver backed off this Friday evening on a group of people leaving a bar in Vinzelles, near Mâcon, in Saône-et-Loire, hitting and injuring a dozen individuals.
The facts took place “against a background of alcohol” around 11:45 p.m., in front of a bar in Vinzelles “after a dispute between several individuals”, indicates the prefecture. Sixteen people were examined by the emergency services.
Among them, twelve were slightly injured and three people were taken care of in shock. A 19-year-old woman was severely injured in the legs, but her life is not in danger.
The driver, aged 20, was arrested and taken into police custody. The Macon research brigade is in charge of the investigation.
