Two police bikers were injured this Saturday in Montpellier, in the Hérault, during a speed check. At around 10 a.m., a scooter deliberately charged the police officers on avenue des Moulins, near the Hérault Departmental Council.
The driver of the two-wheeler was checked at 105 km / h instead of 50. According to Rémy Alonzo, departmental secretary of the Alliance police union, he pretended to stop, then, 15 meters from the police, he would have accelerated and dark on them.

He then struck the two bikers and injured one in the back and legs, and the other in the arms.
“We, as a union, demand the greatest firmness from the justice system towards this individual who has deliberately attacked my colleagues, if not to threaten their lives, at least to escape police control and cause them injuries which may have been very very serious, “said Rémy Alonzo on the air at BFMTV.
The 25-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.
