The second game after the restart is a complete success for Shanghai SIPG. Marko Arnautovic, who was allowed to start this time from the start, promptly scored a double and got his team on the track against Hebei China Fortune early on.
The game was not always as easy as the result suggests. The game-determining team were Arnautovic and Co., however. The spell was only broken just before half-time, when The ÖFB-Kicker put his team in the lead (45th).
Arnautovic did not have enough yet and immediately after half-time he finished with a dry finish in the far corner (48th). Even after that, the 31-year-old found opportunities, but could not transform any of them – but the striker’s joy in the day was evident. After 75 minutes, it was over for him.
Newcomer Ricardo Lopes then put the lid on the game, also with a double pack (72nd and 90th + 4) and is thus with four goals in his first two games. Thanks to the better goal difference, Shanghai SIPG is also back in the table in Group B thanks to the better goal difference.
