Does the family circle close? Manchester United are apparently interested in a transfer from keeper Kasper Schmeichel. As the Sun reports, the Reds want to sign Leicester City’s son, her old Trafford legend Peter Schmeichel, for the weak David de Gea.
The Spaniard was repeatedly criticized in the current season due to severe misfires.
Henderson also a candidate
In addition to Schmeichel junior, young Dean Henderson is also on the list of possible successors. The 23-year-old is returning from a loan at Sheffield United this summer, where he has stood between the posts 36 times this season with outstanding performances.
Kasper Schmeichel is still under contract with Leicester City until 2023 and could follow in his father’s great footsteps at United. His father Peter won the Champions League with United in the dramatic final against Bayern in 1999, and was also voted World Goalkeeper of the Year twice.
