Berlin (AP) – US moderator Ellen DeGeneres has apologized to the employees of her talk show for the working atmosphere. The 62-year-old responded to allegations that it was unfair behind the scenes, as reported by several US media.
Employees are said to have spoken of intimidation, racism and poisoned work culture. Ellen DeGeneres now expressed her disappointment in a letter to her, as USA Today reported.

She is sorry that employees feel disrespected, the moderator wrote. “Everyone who knows me knows that it is the opposite of what I believe in and what I hoped for our show.”
