Florida lowers daily COVID-19 cases even though they remain above 7,000


Miami, Aug 2 (EFE) .- The state of Florida (USA) recorded 7,104 new cases of COVID-19 this Sunday and 62 deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours, totaling 487,132 and 7,084, respectively, a significant drop. with respect to the same day of the previous week.

Death figures do not count 122 people from outside Florida who died there, the state Department of Health reported.
