Halder misses podium coup when Fugel wins

Dominik Fugel won the second race of the season at ADAC TCR Germany.

At the Lausitzring, the Chemnitzer relegated the Austrian Harald Proczyk and Antti Buri from Finland to second and third place.

Michelle Halder, who took the lead after the start, was quickly overtaken and had to settle for fifth place in the end.

Even worse was her brother Mike Halder, who had to park his car in the pit lane prematurely.

Grubert wins first race

In the first race in the morning, Austrian Nico Gruber triumphed ahead of Mike Halder. Buri took third place again.

Buri started the race from pole position, but was overtaken by his Hyundai brand colleague before the first corner.

Halder also got off to a very good start in the Honda Civic and fought his way from sixth to third place in the first lap – and things should go even better for Baden-Württemberg.

After a safety car phase triggered by Albert Legutko, he put pressure on Buri a few minutes before the end of the race and finally passed the Finn.

Halder’s sister Michelle (Honda Civic) long dueled with her team-mate Marcel Fugel for tenth place, but in the end had to admit defeat by half a second.
