Burgos, Aug 1 (EFE) -. The winner of the Vuelta a Burgos, the Belgian Remco Evenepoel, has stated that it has been “long” a “perfect” start to the season, in his first presence in Burgos.
The Belgian added that “it took a lot to get to the top” but the attitude was “that his rivals did not take distance” and to have Mikel Landa always close.
“I’ve been thinking about this day for two days,” said Evenepoel, who stated that “it was all great.”
