Maximilian Kieffer finished sixth at the European Tour tournament in Birmingham, England, his first top 10 result in over 16 months.
On Sunday, the 30-year-old improved again by eleven positions on the final round of the event, which was endowed with a million euros, with 68 and 275 strokes.
Kieffer most recently achieved a top result in fifth in Kuala Lumpur at the end of March 2019.
The winner in Birmingham came with 270 strokes from the English Sam Horsfield, who celebrated his first success on the tour. The Belgian Thomas Detry came in second place just behind.
