LPT ordinance in line with Northern regions

Rome, August 2. (askanews) – “Citizens need certainty and not to witness quarrels between ministers that generate contradictory rules. The decisions made by the Lombardy Region are in line with the results of the Lombard health data of the last few weeks. And they are in line with what established by the neighboring Regions, which well before Lombardy allowed the increase in the capacity of public transport. It is therefore surprising that the government forces contest our ordinance but did not do the same, at the time, towards the similar provisions of the other Northern Regions “. This was stated by the Lombardy Regional Councilor for Infrastructure, Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Claudia Maria Terzi.

“The uncertainties of the last few hours signal once again – continues Terzi – the lack of a direction at a national level capable of dealing with the complexity of the problems. I am thinking of the theme of the school: with the limitations to filling the means there is serious risk that students do not even arrive in class, given that it is not realistic to multiply the number of buses or trains to be used for school transport. The Lombardy Region ordinance goes in the direction of giving answers also from this point of view: we remain open to dialogue and the will to find shared solutions, but we do not accept instrumental and rambunctious attacks “.
