The Catholic University will participate in the Rimini Meeting


Milan, July 31 (askanews) – Also this year the Catholic University participates in the Meeting for Friendship among Peoples scheduled at the Palacongressi in Rimini from 18 to 23 August. A Special Edition, entitled “Without wonder, we remain deaf to the sublime” which, for the particular historical moment that our country and the whole world are experiencing due to the pandemic from Covid-19, is presented to the general public in a new guise. . To guarantee total safety for the participants and to be in line with the health directives, the over 50 events of the 2020 Meeting will be realized in digital form and transmitted in blended mode with the possibility of physical participation by a limited number of people in some meetings.

A packed program of meetings to which Cattolica gives its scientific contribution with the participation of teachers from different disciplinary areas. Speakers Walter Ricciardi and Roberto Bernabei, both teachers in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi, vicar rector, economist Luigi Campiglio and sociologists Chiara Giaccardi and Mauro Magatti.
