Does Kai Havertz move to Chelsea in the Premier League, following his national team-mate Timo Werner? This question has been floating around for weeks.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz is one of those who has already been initiated into Havertz’s future plans. When asked whether he knew what Havertz wanted, Bosz said in the dpa interview: “Yes, I know that. But of course I won’t tell you, it’s up to him.”
When a decision was made, one couldn’t say, said Bosz: “Maybe the decisive call will come today, maybe next week, maybe not at all.”
Chelsea wants to attract 21-year-old Havertz to the island. The crux of the matter is apparently the transfer fee of 100 million euros requested by Leverkusen.
Havertz deals well with the hype about himself, Bosz assured: “I keep finding that Kai handles all of this very well.”
