Ex-Bundesliga star Ze Roberto has talked to TyC SPORTS chatted out of the box about his two colleagues with the Brazilian national team, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
“Ronaldo was a party animal. He started off in the evening and came back to training the next morning without much sleep,” said the 46-year-old. “That was really unbelievable, because he drank a glass or two and still trained like an animal.”
But not only the former world-class striker had a penchant for parties. Brazil teammate Ronaldinho was also always busy. He had “his own discotheque in his house”. “I was invited to his parties very often, but I always chose not to go.”
During his career Ze Roberto was active in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen, HSV and FC Bayern. In 336 games in Germany’s top division, he contributed 39 goals and 97 assists. He ended his career in 2017.
