After surgery, Bolsonaro is discharged and returns to Braslia – Politica

President Jair Bolsonaro was discharged this Saturday afternoon (9/26). He left the hospital at 1:30 pm surrounded by a train and returns to Palcio do Alvorada in Braslia, where he will rest for the weekend. According to advisory from the Plateau, he should disembark at around 3:30 pm.

Earlier, First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro, who accompanied him, posted a photo of the president on social media. The president landed for the image wearing a Ferrovirio team shirt (CE). In reference to the National Deaf Day, celebrated this saturday, Bolsonaro greeted the population in the language of pounds with his right hand. The sign made by the mandatary means “I love you”.

The procedure

To extract the stone, the medical team resorted to surgery with general anesthesia, known as cystolithotripsy, considered simple and minimally invasive. This method allows a thin tube to follow through the urethra channel until the bladder, where the stone is fragmented with the help of a laser. At the beginning of the month, the president commented to supporters that he was stone in the bladder “bigger than a bean bean”.

This was the sixth medical procedure carried out by the Chief Executive after the stab received in 2018, during the election campaign, in Juiz de Fora (MG). Bolsonaro landed in So Paulo on the night of the last 24th to undergo surgery. Before, he passed through Resende and Rio de Janeiro, where he participated in a graduation at the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras (Aman) and in the inauguration ceremony of structures and delivery of equipment Superintendency of the Federal Highway Police, respectively.
