Two people died and four were injured on Sunday, following an armed attack in the region of Dombe, province of Manica, central Mozambique.
The attacks were said to have taken place around 6 pm. Armed men opened fire on several vehicles while traveling in the Muwawa area, an administrative post in the Dombe region, Sussundenga district, according to data revealed by police authorities.
The fatal victims are two minors aged 10 and 14 who will have lost their lives at the scene.
According to the police, these attacks are presumed to have been carried out by the men of the Renamo military junta.
According to the newspaper O País, this September six deaths and dozens of injuries were reported as a result of attacks in the central part of the country, more specifically in the provinces of Manica and Sofala.
