This Tuesday (29) Belo Horizonte reached 1,242 deaths by COVID-19. The municipal epidemiological and assistance bulletin informs that 10 bits by the disease happened in the last 24 hours.
As for the number of cases, the city reached 42,236 – a difference of 493 diagnoses for the previous survey. The city has, in addition to almost 1,300 deaths, 2,620 cases being monitored and 38,374 recovered.
In the survey by regionals, the Northeast the one with the highest number of deaths: 156, one more than the West. In the sequence, appear Northwest (153), Venda Nova (146), East (140), Barreiro (138), North (123), Center-South (116) and Pampulha (115).
Among the people who died COVID-19 in Belo Horizonte, 693 are men and 549 women. Most deaths, 82.4% (1,024), consisted of elderly people. Another 15.2% (188) were between 40 and 59 years old; and 2.4% (30) between 20 and 39 years old.
Regarding race / color, 49.5% of people diagnosed with severe cases were brown, 27% white, 9.3% black, 0.8% yellow and 0.1% indigenous. According to the PBH, 13.4% do not have a specified race / color yet.
In addition, 97.4% of deaths are from people with a risk factor, according to the city hall. Only 32 deaths without comorbidities: 27 men and five women.
Age, heart disease, diabetes, pneumopathy, obesity, nephropathy and neurological diseases are the most common comorbidities.
After reaching the alarming picture last week, the average transmission number of the new coronavrus by infected it fell again this Tuesday: from 0.93 to 0.92 compared to Monday. Therefore, the indicator remains in the controlled phase.
Regarding bed occupancy, the rate of wards it has not changed in the comparison between the last two bulletins and is at 33.7%. In the ICUs, the indicator fell slightly: 40% to 39.9%.
Therefore, the bed situation in the mining capital remains under control, below 50%. It is worth mentioning that the city government considers private sector and SUS units in the survey.
