A return in the Azores against Fontinhas that had the right to supporters, a rarity at a time when preventive measures against the pandemic of Covid-19 require bare seats – as happened not far away, in the same archipelago, with Santa Clara receiving the Maritime.

In total, 210 people were present at the Municipal Stadium of Praia da Vitória – all wearing an individual protection mask, following the instructions of the health authorities -, six of whom made a trip from Amadora to the Azores, to see Estrela win 2- 1.

We missed it and it was seen here that it was a beautiful party, fulfilling all the safety rules. What happened here is an example for the whole country and I appeal to the authorities in Portugal to look at this case ”, said A BOLA.

Fontinhas president José Fernando also praised the fans’ behavior. «The public complied, behaved well, there was social distance and it was good for football, it was seen that the party has another flavor. We didn’t win, but everything went well and I liked people’s behavior ”, he said.
