THE Federal government confirmed that it will release the emergency aid calendar of R $ 300 this Monday, September 28th. According to Minister Onyx Lorenzoni, payment should still begin to be made this month.
The minister gave the statement during a meeting in Palmas, where he released funds for the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) in Tocantins.
“We plan to publish it at the latest by Monday. Since the beginning, we have always maintained the Bolsa Família schedule because there are 14 million and 274 thousand families that are the most vulnerable families in Brazil, ”he said.
Jair Bolsonaro’s government announced the extension of another four installments of R $ 300 of emergency aid in August. So far, only Bolsa Família beneficiaries have had their calendar confirmed. The calendar of this group is the same as that of Bolsa Família, which was released earlier this year by the government.
Since last week, Bolsa Família beneficiaries have received the first installment of R $ 300. Each day, following the calendar according to the last digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS), a group has the payment released.
Among the other beneficiaries, those who started receiving emergency aid of R $ 600 in April currently receive the fifth installment of R $ 600. “The others, who must already have the calendar in place, I hope that by the end of the week, but no later than Monday it will be published. The team is working hard to see if by the end of this week or at most on Monday we will publish in the official diary to start payments in September, ”said Lorenzoni.
This group that started receiving R $ 600 aid will have the payment of the fifth installment closed on September 30, when those born in December receive payment in a digital social savings account.

President Jair Bolsonaro announced the extension of emergency aid for four months in the amount of R $ 300. The extension of the aid has already been made official through a provisional measure and will now have to be approved by deputies and senators in the National Congress.
“It is not often enough for all needs, but it basically does it. The amount just defined is just over 50% of the Bolsa Família value. So, we decided here, even taking into account the economy over fiscal responsibility, to set it at R $ 300 ”, said Bolsonaro.
This year, the Executive deposited five installments of R $ 600 for the beneficiaries of the aid, aiming to help low-income Brazilians, informal workers, MEIs, self-employed and unemployed.
President Jair Bolsonaro had already informed about the reduction of the benefit amount and argues that, if the amount may seem little to Brazilians affected by the pandemic, “it is a lot for those who pay, in this case, Brazil”.
According to calculations made by the economic team, the monthly cost of the benefit was R $ 50 billion per month during the first phase of the program.
