Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region concentrates 478 new cases
In the last 24 hours, Portugal registered six more deaths and 688 new cases of coronavirus.
According to the Epidemiological Bulletin issued daily by DGS, the country now has 1963 deaths and 74,717 confirmed cases of the disease. The Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region (LVT) concentrates 478 of the new cases, followed by the North, with 160 more, the Algarve, with 22 more, Centro Region, with 16 more, the Alentejo and the Madeira archipelago with five more cases and the Azores with two more.

Currently, there are 661 hospitalized patients, two more compared to Monday. There is one more person hospitalized in intensive care, increasing to 99.
So far, 48,193 have recovered from the disease, 309 more than yesterday.
Five of the six deaths were recorded in the LVT region. The sixth was recorded in the Center region.
Regarding the distribution of confirmed cases, 40,812 relate to women and 33,905 to men. As for the fatalities, 987 correspond to males and 976 females.
