The state of Rio de Janeiro reached today (18) 249,798 confirmed cases accumulated and 17,575 deaths caused by Covid-19

The city of Rio de Janeiro evaluates that the contagion of the new coronavirus
they did not fall as expected and, therefore, infractions by establishments that allow agglomerations will be considered very serious.

With the punishment hardened, the fines could reach R $ 26 thousand
in the event of a repeat offense and the ban will be seven days, with the possibility of revocation of the license in “extreme cases”.

The state reached, this Friday (18), the 249,798 cases
accumulated confirmed and 17,575 deaths
caused by Covid-19. According to the State Health Department, there are 396 deaths under investigation and 354 have been discarded. Among the confirmed cases, 226,873 patients recovered from the disease.

A capital registers 97,612 cases
confirmed and 10,449 deaths
