DF reaches 187,895 cases of the disease and records 3,175 deaths

The federal capital registered this Friday (9/25) 950 new cases of people infected with the new coronavirus compared to the previous day and totaled 187,895 records of the disease. Of these, 177,073 (94.2%) are recovered persons and 7,647, with active disease.

The death toll also rose to 3,175 victims. Just today, the Federal District Epidemiological Surveillance directorate reported 11 deaths, between July 11 and November 25.

Most of the victims were female and represented the age group of 70 years or more. All lived in the Federal District and only one person had no comorbidities. According to the bulletin, the lethality of the Federal District is 1.8% while the mortality rate is 95.5 per 100 thousand inhabitants.

The region with the highest number of recorded deaths is Ceilandia, with 581 victims. The Administrative Region also has the largest number of infected in the DF, with 22,939 registrations.
