Since the beginning of the pandemic, Espírito Santo has recorded 3,524 deaths and 129,796 cases of Covid-19, a disease caused by the new coronavirus. The information is from the Covid-19 Panel, from the State Department of Health (Sesa), updated on Monday afternoon (28). The tool shows that, in the last 24 hours, 604 new cases and 20 deaths were registered.
Among the most affected municipalities in the state, Vila Velha remains ahead with 17,923 records of the disease, followed by Serra (15,761), Vitória (15,700) and Cariacica (11,855). As for neighborhoods, Jardim Camburi, in the Capital, is the one with the most confirmed cases of Covid-19, with 2,215 infected residents.
The number of cured patients also increased in Espírito Santo. Altogether, 119,658 people managed to win the battle against the coronavirus. The lethality rate in the state is 2.7% and, so far, 380,858 tests to detect the disease have been carried out across the state.
