Everywhere: game from former GTA producer has grossed more than $ 40 million


Leslie Benzies, former series producer Grand Theft Auto, has raised more than US $ 40.8 million (about R $ 230 million) for Everywhere, a science fiction title being developed by his studio, Build a Rocket Boy.

Apparently, the funds came from several different sources, including the Chinese technology company Netease, which has invested heavily in the gaming market.

According to Benzies, the new game aims to be unlike anything you’ve worked on before. “Players are getting smarter and demanding more from their games, and we want them to have real freedom to live in our world however they want. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of game modes and styles that not only tell our stories, but also allow people to live in the identities and adventures they most want to explore, ”explained the businessman.
