A EA Sports, developer of the games franchise Fifa, announced on Wednesday the clubs that will be available in the Fifa 21, the company’s new game to be launched this year. As in the previous version of the electronic game, the Atlantic be among the playable teams, while the cruise is off the list of more than 700 teams available.

The main factor for the absence of Cruzeiro in the EA Sports game franchise is the absence of the team in Series A of the 2020 Brazilian Championship, since there is no Series B in the game. The celestial club has not been out of an edition of the franchise since 2014, when the FIFA 15 was launched, which had no Brazilian club.

An alternative would be to place Cruzeiro in the “Rest of the World” section. It contains 23 teams whose leagues that do not appear in the game, such as Al Ain-EAU, CSKA-RUS, Kaizer Chiefs-AFS, Olympiacos-GRE, Shakhtar Donetsk-UCR.

The Brazilian will be in a general form in Fifa 21 and for that reason it is called “Liga do Brasil”. There will be 14 teams available in this section: Athletico-PR, Atltico, Atltico-GO, Bahia, Botafogo, Cear, Coritiba, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Gois, Grmio, Internacional, Santos and another unnamed licensed team, which was named Ocenico FC .

All 14 teams in the Brazilian League will have generic players. Of these, only Ocenico FC, which EA Sports has not informed which real-life team is referring to, does not have a name, shield or authentic uniforms.

Of the six teams outside the Liga do Brasil, four will be seen in the “Conmebol” section. In it, there are the teams that compete or competed in the entity’s competitions this year. They are: Athletico-PR, Atltico, Bahia, Flamengo, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Grmio, Gois, Palmeiras, So Paulo and Vasco da Gama.

However, they all follow the model of the vast majority of teams in the “Liga do Brasil”: authentic shields and uniforms, but with generic players. The Brazilian team will also be available under this proposal.

Fifa 21 arrives in physical and virtual stores on October 9, 2020, available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and computers. The cheapest version of the game costs R $ 298.90.
