Anitta made it! The popstar from Brazil scored a single on the Billboard Hot 100, the main stop in the United States. The singer appears in the new ranking update, released this Monday (28/9). “Me Gusta”, his music in English and Spanish, featuring Cardi B and Myke Towers, debuted in 90th place. It is the first time that Anitta enters the Hot 100.

The singer is the eighth artist in Brazilian history to put a song on the United States singles chart. Before her, Sérgio Mendes, João Gilberto, Corona, Tired of Being Sexy, Michel Teló, Claudia Leitte e Nego do Borel had already appeared on the Hot 100.
“I like it” is part of Anitta’s next international album, still without a release date. The singer now works with an American record label, entrepreneur and executive producer.
