At two laboratories in Trondheim, researchers make 1.2 million coronate test sets a week. Recently, hospitals in Norway have received five million corona tests.
In total, NTNU will export one million tests to Denmark and India. The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the Indian biotechnology company Aps Labs have signed an agreement with the university.
Now countries from several continents are signing up.
– We have been contacted by health ministries and private companies from countries in Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe, says Tonje S. Steigedal, project manager for the commercialization of technology via NTNU Technology Transfer, according to TV 2.
