More than 60 thousand capixabas will receive, this Wednesday (30), the fifth and last lot of refund of the Individual Income Tax (IRPF) 2020. According to the Federal Revenue, the total of contemplated in the state is of 60,251, which will receive a total amount of R $ 77,698,862.96. Taxpayers with the names present in this lot will receive the refund money directly in the bank account indicated on the declaration.
Throughout Brazil, 3,199,567 taxpayers will be entitled to bank credit. A total of R $ 4.3 billion will be paid to them. Of this total, R $ 226,353,008.42 refers to taxpayers who have legal priority, with 7,761 elderly people over 80 years old, 44,982 between 60 and 79 years old, 4,685 with some physical or mental disability or serious illness and 21,303 people whose greatest source of income is the teaching profession.
Consultation of the fifth batch of IRPF 2020 refunds was opened by the IRS last Wednesday (23). To find out if the declaration has been released, the taxpayer must access the Federal Revenue website.
On the e-CAC Portal, it is possible to access the My Income Tax service and see if there are data inconsistencies identified by the processing. In this case, the taxpayer can assess the inconsistencies and make the self-regulation, by submitting a rectifying statement.
The IRS also provides an application for tablets and smartphones that facilitates consultation of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) declarations and registration status in the CPF. With it, it will be possible to consult directly on the bases of the Federal Revenue information on the release of refunds of the IRPF and the registration status of a registration with the CPF.
The refund will be available in the bank for one year. If the taxpayer does not make the redemption within this period, he / she must request it through the internet, using the Electronic Form – Refund Payment Request, or directly on the e-CAC Portal, in the Meu Income Tax service.
If the amount is not credited, the taxpayer can personally contact any Banco do Brasil branch or call the Call Center by calling 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729- 0088 (special telephone exclusively for the hearing impaired) to schedule credit in a checking or savings account, in your name, at any bank.
Whoever sent the declaration and did not have the refund released in any of the five refund lots fell into the final grid and will have to settle the accounts with the Lion.
