Realme has grown a lot in the smartphone market and, with that, several models of Chinese cell phones have already arrived in several countries. For this segment, the company’s CEO has already stated that he has an interest in growing further and has announced his plans to launch a mobile device with technology to insert the front camera below the display.
However, this is not the only area in which the Chinese operates and a new 55-inch TV with 4K resolution is already in the plans to be launched next month. Now, a few weeks before it finally hits the shelves, an image of its packaging reveals some details about it and its supposed price starts circulating on the internet.
According to rumors, Realme Smart TV SLED 4K may have a maximum price of ₹ 69,999 – which is equivalent to approximately R $ 5,306 in direct conversion – for retail. The Chinese company explains that this will be the first 4K television to feature SLED technology for its screen, which is manufactured in partnership with SPD Technology and promises an ultra wide color range, in addition to having reduced blue light, to offer better comfort for the eyes.
Produced in India, Realme Smart TV SLED 4K will also, according to rumors, have a voltage input of 100 to 240 V and an update rate between 50 and 60 Hz.
It is worth mentioning that Realme is not exactly a newcomer in the segment of smart TVs. In May, it already made two other TV models available for Indian consumers, which arrived at prices between ₹ 12,999 (R $ 985) and ₹ 21,999 (R $ 1,667).
Although we already know that the new TV will be launched in October, so far there are no further details regarding its availability or official price.
