The squad of Palmeiras trained at the Football Academy on Monday reinforced by athletes from the under-20 team. After drawing with Flamengo on Sunday, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo started preparing the team for the match against Bolívar, on Wednesday, at 19h15 (Brasília), for the fifth round of Group B of the Libertadores.
Goalkeeper Leandro, defender Renan, who also serves as a left back, and midfielder Jonathan worked with the professional squad.
The line players who worked more than 45 minutes over the weekend participated in a physical recovery work at the center of excellence. Gabriel Menino, Raphael Veiga, Ron, Bruno Henrique and Willian went to the field.
Left-back Esteves also worked on the pitch. Recovered from muscle injury, he is in physical transition. The player will complete a stage of activities with coaches and physiotherapists before being released for Vanderlei Luxemburgo’s training.

Wednesday’s game could give Palmeiras the classification for the Libertadores round of 16. For that, the alviverde team needs a draw with Bolívar.
Palmeirenses lead Group B with 10 points, followed by Guaraní (Paraguay), Bolívar (Bolivia) and Tigre (one point).
