Realme is one of the brands committed to bringing to the market soon the technology that many want – front camera under the screen. And a brand executive has now shared an image of what must be the first brand equipment to hit the market with this characteristic.
The image in question was shared by Xi Qi Chase, vice president of Realme, on the social network Weibo. In this it is possible to see part of a smartphone without any type of hole or notch for the front camera.
One might initially think that the smartphone in question could have a pop-up mechanism, for example. But the executive explained that this was not the case, as if guaranteeing the camera under the screen.
ZTE Axon 20 5G was the first smartphone to have a camera under the screen
Remember that the first smartphone in the world with a camera under the screen has already been presented – the ZTE Axon 20 5G. Xiaomi has also admitted to having the technology ready to launch in 2021. But Realme can thus get ahead of its competitor.
Taking the camera under the screen brings several challenges such as the quality of the camera, but it also loses the quality of that area of the screen. The goal is to offer a screen without any obstructions and without the need to resort to mechanisms that make the most skeptical suspicious.
Recall that the brand has launched a smartphone with a full screen called Realme X before. However, it used a pop-up camera, similar to equipment like the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro.
