The IRS pays on Wednesday (30) the fifth batch of refund of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) of 2020 for 3,199,567 taxpayers. The total value of bank credits is R $ 4.3 billion.
In this lot, 3,120,836 non-priority taxpayers were included, who submitted the declaration until June 19, in addition to taxpayers with legal priority, with 7,761 elderly people over 80 years old, 44,982 taxpayers between 60 and 79 years old, 4,685 with some physical disability , mental or serious illness and 21,303 people whose greatest source of income is the teaching profession.
To find out if the declaration has been released, the taxpayer must access the Federal Revenue website. When consulting the Revenue page, on the e-CAC Portal, it is possible to access the My Income Tax service and see if there are data inconsistencies identified by the processing. In this case, the taxpayer can assess the inconsistencies and self-regulate, by submitting a rectifying statement.
The IRS also provides an application for tablets and smartphones that facilitates consultation of the IRPF statements. With it, it will be possible to consult directly on the bases of the Federal Revenue information about the release of refunds and the registration status of an inscription in the CPF.
The refund will be available in the bank for one year. If the taxpayer does not make the redemption within this period, he / she must apply through the internet, using the Electronic Form – Refund Payment Request, or directly on the e-CAC Portal, on the My Income Tax service.
If the amount is not credited, the taxpayer may personally contact any Banco do Brasil branch or call the Call Center by calling 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 ( special telephone exclusively for the hearing impaired) to schedule credit in a checking or savings account, in your name, at any bank.
