Inter officially announced on Wednesday that right-back Renzo Saravia is out of the rest of the season. The player has broken the cruciate ligament in his right knee and will need to undergo surgery.
In addition, the club reported that left-back Uendel and midfielder Rodrigo Dourado both tested negative for Covid-19 after positive tests in recent weeks. They were returned to training.

Saravia endured just 11 minutes on the field, until he was replaced by Heitor. In the previous minute, after dribbling the opponent, he took a touch on his right knee and fell on the lawn in pain. Treatment started on the reserve bank. Coach Eduardo Coudet recognized the seriousness.
– It was certainly a very serious injury to Renzo (Saravia). We will lose another player indefinitely. It is not a simple injury – said the coach shortly after the match.
In Libertadores, Inter has eight points and occupies second place in Group E. The game against Universidad Católica is scheduled for October 22, at San Carlos de Apoquindo, in Chile.
