This Tuesday, Portugal registers six more deaths associated with covid-19, another 688 new infections and two more hospitalizations. In 24 hours more 309 patients recovered.
Five fatalities occurred in the region of Lisbon and Tagus Valley and another registered in the Center region. There are four women and a man aged 80 and over and another man aged 70-79.
Portugal accounts for a total of 74717 confirmed cases of covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic (688 more in 24 hours) and 1963 deaths (six more), according to the epidemiological bulletin released by the Directorate-General for Health.
The North has 160 more infections (26,735), the Center more 16 (6076), the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region more 478 (38294), Alentejo plus five (1499), Algarve plus 22 (1622), Azores plus two (269) and Madeira plus five (222).
There is 24,561 active cases (373 more) and 44231 (over 60) under surveillance by health authorities. In total, 48,193 patients (309 more) have already recovered from the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2.
They are 661 infected patients were hospitalized (two more) and there are 99 in intensive care units (one more).
