The State of So Paulo records 964,921 confirmed cases of covid-19 and 34,877 deaths due to the disease, informed the state secretary of Sade this Friday, 25. Between yesterday (24) and today, 6,681 new cases were recorded, an increase of 0.7% in 24 hours, and 200 new bites, an increase of 0.6%.
“This week, we have a scenario of stability for the So Paulo Plan and also for the control of the pandemic in our state. This week, we also had indexes that showed significant declines both in the number of deaths and in hospitalizations,” said the state health secretary of So Paulo, Jean Carlo Gorinchteyn, in a press conference at Palcio dos Bandeirantes, headquarters of the São Paulo government.
State data show that there was a weekly reduction of 14% in the number of new deaths, 12% of new hospitalizations and 2% in new cases. The occupancy rate of ICU beds is 46.3% in the State and 45.3% in the metropolitan area of the Capital.
