Spain admits to closing Madrid and 10 more cities for “extreme situation”

The Spanish Ministry of Health is expected to propose the closure of the city of Madrid, as well as ten other cities, alleging an “extreme situation”.

According to Notícias ao Minuto, the newspaper ‘El Mundo’ had access to the draft of the Interterritorial Council agreement, which should be signed this Wednesday, and it can read about the closure considered due to the increase in the number of cases in that country.

According to the same source, “autonomous communities with more than 250 cases will also have to take extraordinary measures”.

Already according to El Pais, based on the same proposal, the ministry led by Salvador Illa can also proceed with the implementation of restrictions on the entry and exit of the most critical municipalities, reduce the minimum number of clusters of people to six and close playgrounds.
