And we have Netflix’s Dream!
A Netflix is developing a series based on the acclaimed comic Neil Gaiman, Sandman. And if the main actor of the show has not been revealed so far, this should be just a matter of time, because according to Collider, Tom Sturridge was chosen for the role.
Sturridge is a 34-year-old British actor who has starred in some films and TV series, including recent productions All Art is Dangerous e Sweetbitter. Your CV also includes films Mary Shelley, De Song in Song e On the road.
The website claims that Surridge was chosen by Netflix after disputing the role with two more actors, Tom York (Poldark) e Colin Morgan (Merlin). Filming for the series is due to start in three weeks.
Sandman accompanies the story of Dream, the ruler of Dreaming, the world of dreams. He is part of a mysterious group of immortal beings known as Perpetual, who embody universal concepts of all living beings.
The Netflix series will arrive with a total of 11 episodes, being produced by Neil Gaiman, David S. Goyer and written by showrunner Allan Heinberg.
