THE Tottenham is in the quarterfinals Carabao Cup, the English League Cup! This Tuesday, Spurs won the Chelsea 5 to 4 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in normal time, and advanced in the competition.
Now, the competition defines its last matches of the 4th phase and will only resume in late December. Meanwhile, clubs focus on Premier League and in UEFA tournaments.
Who opened the scoring was Chelsea, through striker Timo Werner, hired for 47.5 million pounds (R $ 345.25 million) and who finally scored for the 1st time by the London team.
The goal came in the 19th minute of the 1st half, when the Blues dominated the game in an absurd way: after a low cross from the right, the German kicked the half-moon hard and puffed the net.
In the 2nd half, José Mourinho changed the Spurs and saw his team becoming the most dangerous, effectively reaching the attack.
Meanwhile, French goalkeeper Mendy, who made his debut for the Stamford Bridge club, stood out, making an excellent save in Reguilón’s shot.
José Mourinho went crazy, and even left the field during the complementary stage to pick up Eric Dier in the bathroom, in a surreal scene (see below).
After Harry Kane came in, Tottenham increased the pressure, and the deserved draw came in the final minutes.
Reguión crossed from the left, the Brazilian Emerson missed the ball and left it to Lamela, who just pushed inside.
Thus, the classification was defined in the penalties.
In the mark of which, the Spurs they hit all their charges, while Mount lost the last to Chelsea.

At 31 of the 2nd half, the coach of Spurs, José Mourinho, gave a real show.
Irritated by a “hole” in Tottenham’s defense, the Portuguese simply left the game and went to the locker rooms, leaving everyone perplexed.
However, the mystery was quickly solved: he went to “hurry” defender Dier, who had gone to the bathroom and left the defense unattended.
The defender returned running, while the Special One it also resumed its position in the technical area right afterwards.
The two teams will return to the field in the coming days.
