Ludeus demands initiative of the Government of MT in search of vaccine for Covid-19
The tests were initially applied to nine thousand volunteers. However, with the new authorization, which also includes Mato Grosso do Sul, in addition to Mato Grosso, this number will rise to 13,060.

Included in this list are the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Santa Catarina and also the Federal District.
The study, with 8,000 volunteers in Brazil, will begin in October. The company’s vaccine is in phase 3 clinical trials. In the previous phases, carried out with volunteers in the United States and Belgium, the results were considered satisfactory. If successful in the last phase, the pharmaceutical company plans to produce 1 billion doses in 2021.
“CoronaVac” has already gone through phase three out of 50,000 volunteers in China and has proven to be safe. In total, 94% of the volunteers had no adverse reaction, and 5.3% had reactions with little severity, such as fatigue or mild fever. The data were presented by Governor João Dória (PSDB), as of yesterday.
In Brazil, the forecast made by the São Paulo government is to have, by December, a stock of 46 million doses to immunize the entire population of the state.

In a press conference last Monday (21), the governor of São Paulo, João Dória (PSDB), stated that the 46 million residents of the state of São Paulo will be vaccinated by February 2021. The statement refers to the vaccine developed by the Butantan Institute in partnership with the Chinese laboratory Sinovac, which should finish phase 3 of tests by October. If all goes well, immunization may start in December.
The government of Paraná, on the other hand, must submit the validation protocol for phase 3 of studies of the Russian vaccine, Sputnik V, by the end of September. The test is expected to start in late October. After 60 days, there must be a new request to Anvisa for effective vaccination, with the first doses being imported.
In Mato Grosso, on the other hand, Mauro Mendes stated at the end of August that he would not enter the “media race” for the vaccine, and that he would leave the matter to the Ministry of Health and the Federal Government.
“The vaccine race is a race that is mobilizing all the efforts in the world. I don’t know if the state government has already taken any type of initiative to reserve some of the vaccines to be applied to our population. I sincerely hope that what the government of São Paulo announced will materialize. Because the expectation we had is that the vaccine would only be distributed, one of the vaccines, because we don’t know which one will be able to be applied en masse in time, but only from the end of the first semester ”, said Lúdio to. Soon after, he said he would charge the government in plenary in the next few days.
