TAQUARI VALLEY | As updated yesterday, there are 8,694 cases of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Taquari Valley. It reaches 8,069 the number of people who have been contaminated and have recovered. This Monday, 15 municipalities presented new cases of the disease.
The last deaths due to Covid-19 in the region happened on Sunday and yesterday. On Sunday, a 72-year-old woman, living in Taquari, died in the Covid ICU of Hospital Estrela, where she had been hospitalized since August 29. According to the nursing home, the patient had no history of previous pathologies. With this, Taquari adds ten bites per coronavirus.
This Monday, Estrela registered her seventh death due to the disease. The patient, an 80-year-old man, died in his home. He was admitted to hospital, where he underwent the examination. He had a chronic lung disease. Thus, the Valley reached 118 deaths.
RIO GRANDE DO SUL
According to an epidemiological bulletin updated yesterday, Rio Grande do Sul has 175,349 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Covid-19). Of this total, 160,996 people are considered cured of the disease. In the State, the number of bites is 4,409.
In the country, the number of positive cases reached 4,544,629 this Monday. The total recovered amount of 3,851,227. The data were released by the Ministry of Health. Coronary virus deaths in Brazil reach 136,895.
Four regions in red
RIO GRANDE DO SUL | Four regions were awarded the red flag (high epidemiological risk) in the 20th round of the definitive map of Controlled Distance. The other 17 regions are classified in orange flag (average epidemiological risk). In the preliminary map, released Friday, the region of Lajeado had already turned into an orange flag.
The regions classified as high risk are: Porto Alegre, Novo Hamburgo, Santo ngelo and Cruz Alta. All of them already adopt their own protocols. The possibility of co-management, with the adoption of protocols established by regional associations, has been in force since the 14th round of Controlled Distancing.
