Another three athletes are doubtful due to physical problems: goalkeeper Diego Alves is recovering from a shoulder injury; strikers Gabigol and Pedro Rocha have a thigh injury and are undergoing treatment. Of these, Diego Alves and Gabigol already had Covid-19.
Because of these problems, Flamengo has only ten athletes available from the professional group to face Palmeiras. Eight players from the U-20 team were called in to reinforce the squad.
