Another health professional died as a result of covid-19 in Mato Grosso do Sul. Nursing technician Rosângela Pereira, 48, worked at the Evangélico Hospital in the municipality of Dourados and died yesterday, Thursday.
According to Coren / MS (Regional Nursing Council), it is the 13th death of workers in the area in the State and Rosângela was “30 days hospitalized, fighting for life, but she didn’t resist”. The council also maintained that she “performed her duties in Nursing with excellence and was very dear to her colleagues.”
Across the state, according to data from the SES (State Department of Health), 16 health professionals died of the disease this year, nine of whom are men and seven, women. In all, 4,635 were infected, but most were women, totaling 3,330 confirmed cases.
