Parma, the Italian club where the Portuguese central defender Bruno Alves lines up, announced that four players from his squad, without disclosing their names, tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, Parma made it known that the players in question were isolated in accordance with the Italian Federation’s health protocol.
“Parma reports that the latest series of checks on the football team detected four positive cases of coronavirus. Of the four players, one slightly symptomatic and the rest asymptomatic, were isolated according to the rules of the federation », it can be read.
The club also informed that the remaining players of the squad had negative tests and that, according to the health authorities, the group has already started the isolation, with the possibility of developing the normal training activity without having contacts with the outside.
