Ana Paula Scheffer was found dead at her home on Friday (16) in Toledo, Paraná. The gymnast, 31, was a former athlete in the Brazilian team of rhythmic gymnastics.
Scheffer’s mother found the daughter’s body in her bed. The suspicion is that she has a massive heart attack, as disclosed by the rhythmic gymnastics advisory of Toledo to G1.
Bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Ana Paula also served as coaches in the transitional selections of Individual and Joint Rhythmic Gymnastics. Currently she was working as a coach in Cascavel, Paraná.
Her body was sent to the Toledo Medical-Legal Institute (IML).
