Apple prepares new event for November 17

Earlier this month there were some rumors that said that the Apple could hold another virtual event next month, where they would present their first Mac computers with their own processor, the Apple Silicon. Now, according to a tweet from leakster Jon Prosser, he says the event will be held on November 17th.

Prosser believes that invitations to the event will also be sent on November 10, a week before the event, something typical of Apple. We cannot say with certainty that this date is accurate, but Prosser was frighteningly precise in his statements, so it is possible that these dates are true, but we suggest that you take this with some consideration.

It is not clear which computers will be announced at this event. Apple is expected to go slow and start with cheaper models before moving on to Pro models, and one of the rumors is that the company could be reviving the 12-inch MacBook, in addition to giving the MacBook Air a variant with the Apple Silicon.

However, a rumor earlier this week revealed that Apple had applied for various certifications with the Eurasian Economic Commission, where it was suggested that there might also be desktop models on the way.

Given that the Apple Silicon developer kit is based on a Mac mini, it is possible that Apple is preparing a commercial variant, but we will have to wait and see.
